The High Council for the Evaluation of Research and Higher Education (HCERES) will evaluate our Doctoral School on January 18, 2017.
The evaluation will focus projects of the Docotral School in the framework of the upcomming five-year contract (2017-2021) of AMU.
The evaluation of these projects is based on a review and a self-evaluation of the overall functioning of the EDs during the previous contract. For each project, a committee of experts is mandated by HCERES. It relies on a Docotral School record and a series of on-site interviews to produce an evaluation report covering three main criteria: functioning and scientific backing of the school, supervising and training doctoral students, monitoring and insertion of the alumni.
Each ED is the subject of a half-day visit organized in the form of interviews between the committee of experts and the stakeholders of the school, its PhD students, and the project leaders.
